De biologische landbouw in de Europese Unie zit in de lift. Het areaal nam in 2020 toe tot 14,7 miljoen hectare, een toename van 5,3% ten opzichte van 2019. Doel van de Europese Boer-tot-Bordstrategie is een areaal van 25% biologische productie in 2030.
PlantLab, de Nederlandse pionier in indoor farming, heeft €50 miljoen opgehaald in een nieuwe financieringsronde. Deze werd geleid door De Hoge Dennen Capital.
