Agro education

Ukrainian agri-food sector share accounting for 13,7% of GDP (2024), nearly 15% of employment and 56,1% of exports (2025).  Contribution of SME of Agri-Food Sector in GDP in 2024 is 9,8%. In view of ongoing war, internally displaces people, relocated companies and, of course, mobilization, Ukrainian agri-food sector experience significant shortage of personel for high-skilled positions as well as working positions. EU-integration processes in Ukraine require adoptation and introduction in Ukrainian agriculture many norms and approaches that have not been previously in place. Both challenges can be addressed via structural agro educational process as well as retraining of the specialists from other industries.
