The project is executed by UCAB and Agrokebety in cooperation with the Government of the Netherlands in the framework of the (PSD) private sector development program of RVO.
Strategic embedding
The project addresses the acute shortage of skilled labour in Ukraine’s agrifood sector caused by the war.
- War-related mobilization, displacement, and migration drastically reduced the available workforce
- Vocational education has been disrupted by damaged infrastructure agrifood companies urgently need operational and frontline workers to sustain production

Project structure
Agrokebety fast track model = training + employment
- Short-term courses designed jointly with agribusiness companies
- Focus on practical, job-ready skills direct pathway to employment at partner companies

Project implementation
Throughout 2026 the project will deliver the following results:
Result 1
At least 8 industry-driven training modules aligned with agribusiness needs developed and delivered
A sustainable partnership network of at least 15 agribusiness companies and 5 VET schools is built
Result 2:
At least 100 participants successfully complete the online training programmes within the project
Result 3:
At least 100 participants complete practical trainings at partner agribusiness companies
