Bulgarian Ministry of Agriculture and Food has ambitious plans to increase irrigated areas in the country from the current 40 thousand hectares to 150 thousand hectares. The goal was emphasized  by the transitional minister Georgi Tahov during a meeting with representatives of branch organizations in Bulgarian agriculture on August 16th.
