The role of quality seedlings in the productivity of the rapidly expanding vegetable sector in Ghana cannot be overemphasized and this report presents an assessment of opportunities for developing Ghana’s horticultural seedling industry. Highlighting current gaps in seedling production, regional market dynamics, and the enabling environment, the report identifies strong potential for commercial nurseries, public–private partnerships, and inclusive agribusiness models. The findings offer practical recommendations to guide investment, policy support, and sector development toward a more productive and resilient vegetable value chain.
