Horticulture in southwest Nigeria can address malnutrition and food insecurity and improve livelihoods, yet it remains underdeveloped.
The sector could be propelled forward through the development and facilitation of a multi stakeholder sectoral vision and strategy driven by the private sector and civil society, with the government in a partner role.
This study provides a political economy analysis of the Horticulture in southwest Nigeria seeking to identify actors and approaches that could play a role in improving the sector.
