Orbis Agro Holding (part of the Orbis Kazakhstan group) has completed the construction of a dairy cattle farm with a capacity of 1,500 heads. The farm is located in the G. Musrepov district and has become one of the largest in the North Kazakhstan region, the company’s press service reported.

The project was implemented based on the LLP "Budyonnoe-SK" with the support of the SPC "Soltustik." The total investment in the project amounted to more than 8.7 billion tenge.

The new farm is equipped with modern milking and milk storage equipment from the Westfalia brand, valued at over 700 million tenge. Westfalia is a leading Dutch company specializing in dairy farming technology, reflecting the strong connection between the farm’s development and Dutch expertise in the dairy sector. Currently, the enterprise is undergoing the final stages of validation and preparing for launch. The first batch of pedigree Holstein cows, a breed originally developed in the Netherlands known for its high milk yield, is expected by the end of this year, with livestock being imported from abroad.

The farm’s milk will be supplied to the dairy processing plants of partner companies.

“When operating at planned production capacity, the annual raw milk output here will exceed 11 million liters. At this level, the farm will become one of the largest in the region. More than 70 permanent jobs will be created at the enterprise,” said Mustafa Guliyev, co-founder of LLP "Budyonnoe-SK."

The feed base for the farm’s animals will be fully supplied through Orbis Agro’s own production, including the cultivation of corn and other forage crops, as well as the launch of a compound feed plant.

LLP "Budyonnoe-SK," through Orbis Agro, is part of the Orbis Kazakhstan holding, founded by Kazakh entrepreneurs Farrukh and Sukhrab Makhmudov in 2001. The group combines assets in the automotive industry, construction, equipment distribution, car service, agribusiness, HoReCa, and others.
