Since its inception in 2013, “Jańa Dala / Green Day” has firmly established itself as Kazakhstan’s leading demonstration platform showcasing the latest agrotechnologies, breeding achievements, and agricultural machinery. The exhibition has become a strategic forum for experience exchange, promotion of the domestic agro-sector, and concluding business agreements.

At the exhibition’s opening, Minister of Agriculture Aidarbek Saparov emphasized systemic changes in the agricultural sector:
“We continue working on sustainable agricultural development. Since November 2024, we have started accepting applications for financing the 2025 sowing campaign. This early lending practice will become permanent.”
The minister also highlighted key priorities: diversification of sowing areas, expansion of irrigation technologies, sustainable land use, and livestock development. In particular:
- Monoculture areas have been reduced by 332,000 hectares.
- Plantings of oilseeds, legumes, and forage crops have increased.
- A new Water Code has been adopted and an efficient water use program launched.
Significant progress is also observed in dairy farming: the number of modern farms increased from 19 to 88, which will allow an additional 600,000 tons of milk production annually.
Kazakhstan Strengthens Export Positions
Kazakh agricultural exports are confidently entering new markets. In 2025, export duties on wool and hides were abolished, and shipments of honey to the EU and poultry meat to China were approved. Work continues to gain access for horse meat, milk, and aquaculture products to European countries.

Akim of Akmola Region Marat Akhmetzhanov noted that the region remains a leader in agriculture:
“In 2024, we harvested a record 6.5 million tons of grain. The total agricultural production exceeded 1 trillion tenge. Thanks to state support and preferential leasing, farmers acquired over 900 units of equipment in six months.”
Key projects include the development of dairy farming and a deep grain processing project jointly with the Chinese investor Dalian.
International Integration and Prospects
According to EXPO TIME LLP Director Adilkhan Saginbayev, the exhibition has long outgrown regional boundaries:
“Today we bring together professionals from dozens of countries, and this is an excellent opportunity for Kazakh farmers to exchange experiences and find new partners. The main goal of the exhibition has been achieved.”
Preliminary estimates show that about 10,000 participants attended on the first day. The exhibition confirms that Kazakhstan is confidently moving towards creating a highly efficient, export-oriented agro-industrial complex.
