In 2025, a poultry farm of the meat direction of Eco-Chicken will be opened in the rural district of Shaga in the Sauransky district of the Turkestan region. The investment project worth 2.5 billion tenge is designed to keep up to 280 thousand birds and will become one of the largest facilities in the agro-industrial complex of the region, the Ministry of Agriculture reported.

It is planned that after reaching full capacity, the enterprise will not only be able to meet demand within the region, but also enter the country's market by supplying high-quality poultry meat.

"The project is being implemented as part of a comprehensive development program for the Sauransky district. In total, 13 major investment projects worth 16.4 billion tenge will be implemented here in 2024. One of the significant projects will also be the completion by the end of this year of the sprinkler irrigation system implemented by Ak Sauran on an area of 700 hectares. Investments in the project amount to 1.5 billion tenge and are aimed at efficient use of water resources and increasing crop yields," the report says.

In addition, feedlots and greenhouse complexes are being actively developed in the area.
