Trade mission to Uzbekistan

Dutch–Uzbek AgroForum in Tashkent attracts many business partners & media attention
A Dutch – Uzbek AgroForum was held on the 14th of March in Tashkent, which was part of the program of a large Dutch agricultural trade mission with over 50 participants of 36 companies.

Vice chairman of the Uzbek Chamber of Commerce, Jamshed Urakov, vice minister, Muhammadjon Kosimov, of the Uzbek Ministry of Agriculture and Dutch agricultural counsellor of the Netherlands embassy, Meeuwes Brouwer, opened the AgroForum.

The main focus of the presentations followed by match making was on horticulture, greenhouses, potatoes, poultry, dairy and agro logistics, sectors in which The Netherlands is well-known for and has a lot to offer to develop agriculture in Uzbekistan. The event attracted many (potential) business partners and attention of Uzbek media.
