In Murang’a County (Kenya), the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands supported a capacity-building initiative on improved livestock breeding. In partnership with the Directorate of Veterinary Services (DVS) and local authorities, a workshop focused on artificial insemination (AI) was held to enhance skills in breed selection and semen handling. The Dutch expertise in genetics, through collaborations with local companies, contributes to improving Kenya's dairy industry, ensuring higher productivity and sustainable farming practices.
