This study aims to assess the status of fish welfare in pangasius farming, explore industry and farmer perceptions of welfare practices, analyse market and regulatory perspectives, highlight the benefits of improved welfare, and provide practical recommendations for enhancing fish welfare in pangasius production. By addressing these aspects, the study seeks to contributes to the development of a more sustainable, efficient and responsible pangasius aquaculture sector.
