  • Over the last two decades, poultry production has grown 7x, now making up 57% of all meat output.
  • The sector is highly concentrated in large enterprises and key regions like Vinnytsia, Cherkasy, and Dnipropetrovsk.
  • Ukraine has become a global exporter — with 70% of exports going to the EU and UK. In 2023, poultry exports reached $424M.
  • Household production is shrinking, as cost pressures — from feed to logistics — continue to rise.
  • Chicken is now over 40% of all meat consumed in Ukraine.
