Food & Hospitality Asia (FHA) is one of Asia’s largest international trade event for the food and hospitality industry, held in Singapore annually. This year, FHA took place at Singapore Expo between April 21–24, 2026. This event brings together global suppliers and key buyers from Asia and beyond, offering a comprehensive platform to explore the latest trends, innovations, and high-quality products in the food and beverage sector.
The exhibition brought together more than 2750 companies spread over 18 dynamic segments, such as catering, hospitality, food manufacturing and service, and more than 70,000 attendees over the 4 days of the show. With these record numbers in participation, it was the largest edition of the FHA show in the past decade.

This year, the European Union was the Region of Honor, and there was a sizeable EU pavilion to showcase agri-food products from the EU. There were tastings to showcase a variety of food products from the EU as well as cooking sessions and interactive quizzes for participants to gain more knowledge about EU agri-food. In particular, EU food labelling was one of the key areas touched on. The Protected Designation of Origin (PDO) and Protected Geographical Indication (PGI) labels, to indicate the provenance of a food product, and the EU Organic label, to indicate the strict organic standards in producing a food product, were highlighted several times.
The Dutch participation at FHA 2026 was significant, with a delegation comprising 25 companies made up of food producers, product distributors, and F&B equipment suppliers. This number was an increase compared to previous years, and the diversity of companies that took part in this edition of FHA was also impressive. There were a range of food producers, from those of traditional meat and dairy products to confectionary and finger foods. There were also product distributors that did sourcing and aggregation of food products from multiple brands, enabling more efficient shipping arrangements for customers sourcing from Europe. Last but not least, there were companies designing innovative cutlery and kitchen equipment.

The Dutch companies had a fruitful week at FHA 2026, taking the opportunity to re-connect with established clients in the region and to meet new potential leads. There was a strong regional presence at the fair, with more than 300 Singaporean exhibitors as well as more than 100 Malaysian exhibitors. The LAN network in the region assisted the Dutch companies in gathering business leads before and throughout the course of the FHA show. Before the show, introductions had already been made for some of the Dutch companies to give them a head start, and during the show, Dutch companies were linked up with potentially relevant Singaporean companies that were exhibiting at the show.
The enthusiasm of Indonesian companies to be introduced and connected with Dutch companies at this event also increased compared to the previous year. The products in demand by the Indonesian market are quite diverse, for example juice, snacks, margarine and seafood. It was approximately 8 Indonesian importers came to this event and met with Dutch companies.
Near the end of a successful week at FHA, the Dutch delegation joined the Koningsdag celebration at the Ambassador's Residence, where it was an opportunity for them to unwind and meet with local agri-food stakeholders. All in all, it was an action-packed week for the Dutch companies and we look forward to another strong Dutch participation at FHA next year.
