A two-day seminar on the Knowledge-to-Knowledge (K2K) Model for Farmers was successfully conducted in the Tashkent Region of Uzbekistan from September 4 to 5, 2025. The seminar was jointly organized by Netherlands Fruit Solutions Uzbekistan (NFSU) in partnership with NSA Agro Development LLC, as part of ongoing efforts to support sustainable agricultural development in Uzbekistan. NFSU is the project financed by the Dutch government and supported by the Embassy of the Netherlands in Central Asia.
Objectives and Focus Areas
The primary objective of the seminar was to introduce and implement the K2K model, emphasizing the importance of structured, peer-to-peer knowledge transfer in agriculture. The program specifically focused on pre-harvest and post-harvest technologies in the cultivation of apples and pears — sectors of strategic importance to the region’s agricultural economy.
