Animal feed exports have exceeded 1 billion USD for the first time

According to the General Department of Customs, in the first half of December, the animal feed and raw materials exports reached more than 81 million USD. Thus, from the beginning of the year to mid-December, animal feed and raw materials exports surpassed the 1 billion USD, which marks for the first time reaching 1.049 billion USD.

Vietnam exports the most animal feed to the Chinese market. In the first 11 months of this year, animal feed exports to this market reached 330.73 million USD, accounting for 34% of the country’s total export turnover, up 75.6% over the same period in 2020.

Animal feed exports to Cambodia market reached 137.41 million USD, up 22.7% over the same period last year, accounting for 14.1% and ranked the 2nd in turnover in 11 months.

The third place is the Indian market with 95.86 million USD, a sharp increase of 36% over the same period and accounting for 9.9%.

In general, in the first 11 months of this year, animal feed exports to most markets increased sharply compared to the same period in 2020. In which, exports to the Philippines increased sharply by 165.3%, reaching 69.13 million USD; Exports to Thailand also increased sharply by 78.2%, reaching 28.65 million USD.
