“If you and I take care of us, we will defeat the virus” new campaign by ICCO Cooperation
ICCO Cooperation, with support of the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Colombia and the European Trust Fund for Peace, created and launched the campaign “If you and I take care of us, we will defeat the virus” (from the Spanish “Si tú y yo nos cuidamos, a este virus le ganamos”).
Through practical recommendations for the harvesting, post-harvest and commercialization, this campaign seeks to reinforce actions among producers and farmers in order to prevent the coronavirus contagions during their daily activities.
These are some examples of the more than 20 graphic pieces that were developed, along with a series of slogans and a jingle for this campaign.
More than 18 community radio stations, the Government of the Nariño province and more than 10 national and international organizations have joined its broadcast.
The gradual reactivation of the agricultural and productive sector in the midst of the COVID 19 emergency, and the possible opening of 890 municipalities without positive cases, make it necessary to reinforce the measures aimed at preventing new cases, so that producers can continue to carry out their activities while being properly informed and protected.
