Netherlands-Ukraine cooperation in the field of land resources.

The Netherlands’ Cadastre, Land Registry and Mapping Agency (Kadaster) and the State Service of Ukraine for Geodesy, Cartography and Cadastre will cooperate on improving Ukraine's capacity in geospacial data.

On February 14, 2020 the Chairman of the board of The Netherlands’ Cadastre, Land Registry and Mapping Agency (Kadaster), Frank Tierolff, and the Chairman of the State Service of Ukraine for Geodesy, Cartography and Cadastre Denys Bashlyk signed a joint action plan. Its implementaion will help enhance the capabilities of Ukrainian specialists in geospatial data, to accelerate the implementation of INSPIRE principles and to ensure the efficiency of integration of different inventories and registers.

The State GeoCadastre of Ukraine are well aware of the fact that the Dutch cadaster system is known as one of the best and most efficient in the world, and Dutch experience in geospatial data is valuable for Ukraine. Establishing bilateral cooperation will help Ukraine move closer to European standards in the field of land relations and to accelerate integration. The State Service of Ukraine for Geodesy, Cartography and Cadastre (StateGeoCadastre) is the central executive body that is coordinated by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine via Minister of Economic Development, Trade and Agriculture of Ukraine. StateGeoCadastre is responsible for implementation of the state policy in the matter of topography, geodesy, cartography, land relations and state land cadastre.
