Upcoming round two of the Orange Knowledge Program (OKP) in Tanzania

Tanzania has continued to show great interest in the Netherlands OKP Scholarship program with professionals each year getting the chance to have the Netherlands education experience. For those new to OKP, the Orange Knowledge Programme (OKP) is a Dutch capacity building programme funded by the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs and managed Nuffic Global Development .

OKP 1

The program gives Dutch education institutions the opportunity to offer scholarships to mid-career professionals from eligible countries, to study in the Netherlands.

How to best preprare for the upcoming OKP round!

For the upcoming round of scholarships, one is expected to submit their application between 28 June - 5 September 16.00 CET for courses starting after 1 February 2024. Please notes that all courses must be completed before 31 August 2024 with the exception of co-financed master’s programmes.

To increase the chances of being selected, the embassy advises Tanzanian professionals to familiarize themselves with the OKP application process here . On the website you will find information on the scholarship selection processes, code of conduct and other relevant programme updates.
