Polish farmers are increasingly stressing that due to high fertilizer prices they have had to reduce fertilization. The dose of phosphate fertilizers has been reduced by 50% , and nitrogen fertilizers by 20-30%, many farmers declared in interviews with industry media. Due to the high price of fertilizers, Polish farmers have reduced their doses, while at the same time applying organic fertilization by purchasing manure. Preparations containing bacteria that fix nitrogen from the air are also beginning to gain popularity on Polish farms. Due to this situation according to specialists, Polish farmers are increasingly open to new solutions and are looking for alternatives to traditional measures.
