Germany (26%), Belgium (11%), UK (9%) and France (8%) are traditionally the top four destinations. China (4%), Italy, Poland, Spain, US (all 3%) and Sweden (2%) follow at some distance. This puts 7 EU countries in the top 10 destinations. In 2020, the order in the top 10 has changed slightly. China is moving from sixth to fifth place at the expense of Italy, and Poland from eighth to seventh place at the expense of Spain. Compared to 2019, only exports to Germany, China, US and Poland show an increase.

In absolute terms, three countries follow at a great distance from Germany and China: Poland (including increase in fruit exports), Denmark (including fruit, floriculture) and Norway (including beverages). Each of these three countries has an export increase of approximately 0.1 billion euro.
