The FeedTechKenya partnership

The FeedTechKenya partnership, established in 2019, consists of Dutch and Kenyan organisations all active in the feed value chain. The purpose of the partnership is to empower the Kenyan feed sector to further develop and support livestock and aquaculture sector growth.

With studies, trials and training programs, the partnership aims to improve the quality and quantity of locally produced feeds. Alternative feed ingredients, especially Black Soldier Flies, to reduce the dependence on (expensive) ingredient imports and guarantee feed quality, are an important topic in all partnerships’ activities. This partnership is co-funded by the Dutch government.
