Highlights Agroberichten Buitenland is de wekelijkse nieuwsbrief van het LNV Attaché Netwerk. U wordt iedere week geattendeerd op nieuws, activiteiten en achtergrondinformatie van onze LAN teams die werkzaam zijn op de economische afdelingen van 60 Nederlandse ambassades en/of consulaten en van daaruit 80 landen bedienen. Via een klanttevredenheidsonderzoek hebben wij bedrijven, kennisinstellingen, maatschappelijke organisaties en andere stakeholders die afgelopen jaar contact hebben gehad met ons wereldwijde LNV Attaché Netwerk (LAN) gevraagd naar hun mening over de dienstverlening van LAN. We delen graag met jullie de resultaten van dit onderzoek.
Ondernemen in het buitenland is een mooie kans om uw bedrijf te vergroten. Maar er zijn ook risico’s die zich (kunnen) voordoen als u internationaal zaken doet. Bij Rijksdienst voor Ondernemend Nederland (RVO) is eind december 2023 een campagne gestart: ‘Veilig en weerbaar ondernemen gestart - Hoe weerbaar ben jij?’. In heel Frankrijk voeren boeren de laatste dagen actie. De acties zijn enigszins ongecoördineerd en de eisen zeer divers. De regeldruk vanuit Brussel en nationaal, en de prijzen lijken een centrale rol te spelen, los van een dieper en breder gevoel van onvrede. De regering treedt voorzichtig op zolang de betogers niet overgaan tot vernieling of geweld.

Potato is Kenya’s second most important staple crop after maize, that contributes immensely to the food security and income of smallholder farmers. Despite its importance, crop yields range from 7 to 10 tonnes per hectare against a potential of over 40 tonnes per hectare. Many reasons are cited to explain these low yields. These include; inadequate quality seed of suitable varieties, seed recycling, low soil fertility, use of agro-chemicals, pests and diseases.

In hartje Tokio vindt van 5 tot en met 8 maart de FOODEX Japan plaats, het meest prestigieuze en imponerende evenement in de Japanse voedingsmiddelenindustrie. Dit is een uitgelezen kans voor Nederlandse ondernemers om de Japanse markt te verkennen en zich te verdiepen in de exportmogelijkheden naar het verre Oosten. The Korean government commissioned Wageningen Food and Biobased Research (WFBR) in December 2023 to conduct a feasibility study and master planning for an envisaged food hub in the reclaimed land of Saemangeum. It is the first agrologistics study assigned to a foreign research institute in Korean history. WFBR will lead this project for one year by sharing Dutch expertise and experience in agrologistics, trade, post-harvest management, and cold chain. The total budget is around 700,000 euros.
