In the Konyrtobe residential area of the city of Taraz, a new vegetable storage facility of TRZ AGRO LLP has been handed over into operation.

The total cost of the project amounts to 1.8 billion tenge. The capacity of the vegetable storage facility is 12 thousand tonnes. Within the framework of introducing the successful experience of the North Kazakhstan province, state support for the project amounted to 995 million tenge.
The vegetable storage facility is equipped with modern equipment. Technological installations were supplied from the Netherlands, Italy, and the Russian Federation. The main feature of the facility is the use of a subfloor ventilation system based on Dutch technology, which allows preserving the quality of vegetable products for a long time.
According to the administrative department, today 123 vegetable storage facilities operate in the region with a total capacity of about 374 thousand tonnes. By 2028, this indicator is planned to be increased to 560 thousand tonnes. Over the last two years, for the purpose of introducing the successful experience of the North Kazakhstan province, construction of 10 vegetable storage facilities with a total capacity of about 90 thousand tonnes was financed.
