DHI stands for Demonstration Projects, Feasibility Studies, Investment Preparation Projects and Market Validation. The subsidy is primarily intended to support the international activities of Dutch entrepreneurs (SMEs) in the selected countries including Ukraine.
Dutch SMEs can apply to RVO for the DHI subsidy program
This subsidy program is open from March 2, 2026 until December 31, 2026, as long as there is budget available.
The total budget for 2026 is €8.5 million.
The subsidy share is 50% of the total project budget and can grow to 70% in the projects that contribute to greening goals (such as slowing climate change or the transition to a circular economy).
Maximum subsidy funding:
- Demonstration projects up to €200,000
- Feasibility study up to €100,000
- Investment preparation projects up to €100,000
- Market validation (for startups) up to €25,000
