[Nederlandse tekst hieronder] We would like to inform our colleagues, partners and the wider public that the representation of the Netherlands Agricultural Network (LAN) at the Netherlands Embassy in Colombo, Sri Lanka, is closing as of 1 September 2025. The Agriculture Counsellor posted in Delhi, India, will no longer operate in Sri Lanka. With that, we are closing a chapter in the story of our network after over ten years of fruitful cooperation with our many partners and contacts in Sri Lanka, for which we are deeply grateful. Special thanks go to Mr. Nishan Dissanayake, who, for all those years, with great energy fulfilled the function of Agriculture Advisor at the Netherlands Embassy in Colombo.

Vertegenwoordiging van het Nederlands LVVN Attaché Netwerk in Colombo sluit per 1 september 2025
We willen onze collega's, partners en het brede publiek informeren dat de vertegenwoordiging van het LVVN Attaché Netwerk (LAN) bij de Nederlandse ambassade in Colombo, Sri Lanka, per 1 september 2025 sluit. De LVVN-raad, gestationeerd in Delhi, India, zal niet langer werkzaam zijn in Sri Lanka. Hiermee sluiten we een hoofdstuk af in de geschiedenis van ons netwerk na ruim tien jaar vruchtbare samenwerking met onze vele partners en contacten in Sri Lanka, waarvoor wij hen zeer dankbaar zijn. Speciale dank gaat uit naar de heer Nishan Dissanayake, die al die jaren met veel energie de functie van Landbouwadviseur bij de Nederlandse ambassade in Colombo heeft vervuld.
