Kyrgyzstan plans to allocate 5 billion soms for 10 irrigation projects
In 2025, it is planned to allocate 5 billion soms from the republican budget for the development of the irrigation system of Kyrgyzstan. This was reported by the Ministry of Agriculture, Water Resources and Processing Industry following the working visit of the head of the department Bakyt Torobaev to the Jalal-Abad region.

According to the Ministry of Agriculture, the funds will be used to implement 10 major investment projects in the field of irrigation. Bakyt Torobaev familiarized himself with the current state of canals in the Suzak and Nooken districts, including the Chon-Nooken canal.
During the visit, decisions were also made on the need to complete design and estimate documentation, clarify resources and promptly launch work on site. As the ministry emphasized, large-scale investments are planned on the instructions of the President with the aim of modernizing and sustainably developing the country's water management complex.
