A meeting to follow up on: Thai – Dutch Agricultural Cooperation MOU

Thailand and The Netherlands are working on Agricultural Cooperation MOU to strengthen scientific, facilitate business and support knowledge exchange between the two countries for innovative and sustainable agricultural and food systems.

Gijs Theunissen DVM, the Dutch Agricultural Counsellor today had a meeting with Dr. Vanida Khumnirdpetch, Director of Bureau Foreign Agricultural Affairs, Thai Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives (MOAC) for the follow-up meeting on Thai – Dutch MOU on agriculture cooperation.

‘The global agriculture and food system are under pressure from climate change. All stakeholders need to collaborate more locally and internationally to ensure food safety accessibility for all while a healthy nature must be taken into account. The Thai – Dutch MOU on agriculture cooperation could be another tool to strengthen the two countries' cooperation for innovative and sustainable agriculture and food system,’ as agreed by Gijs Theunissen and Dr. Vanida Khumnirdpetch during the follow-up meeting at Thai MOAC in Bangkok.
