Romania: Dutch DN Agrar 1H/2022 Turnover Soars 241% vs Previous Year Period

DN Agrar, a Dutch-held group of firms operating in the fields of animal husbandry, farm production, farming services, logistics, transportation, tourism and advisory services, registered turnover worth RON62.4 million (approx. EUR12.5 million) in the first half of 2022, up 241.4% from the year-earlier period.

Net profit reached RON5.05 million (EUR 1 million), 135.3% higher from June 30, 2021, while the exploited agricultural area widened by almost 3,000 hectares.

At the same time, the net accounting asset stood at RON164.6 million, up 57% vs 1H/2021.

Total assets hit RON226.6 milllion, up 54.2% from the first half of 2021.

The company listed on the AeRO market of the Bucharest Stock Exchange in February 2022, completing the takeover of Apold farm two months later. DN Agrar has a market capitalization worth RON112 million. Its shares have posted a 7.2% increase in the past six months, amid RON6.3 million deals. It is the largest dairy farm in Romania.
