NL – CMU Resilient in Agriculture Conference 2022 in Thailand Counting Down

Thai Government invests to accelerate food system transformation with a focus on knowledge and technology-based investment to ensure the nation’s food security and environmental sustainability through the Bio-Circular-Green Economy (BCG) model (Varawut Silpa-archa, 2022)

“The global food crisis (higher prices of grains, fertilisers and fuel etc.) due to climate change is affecting us directly and indirectly. A major transformation of agricultural systems and natural resources management are seriously required to reduce emissions overall in our agri-food system. The Thai government is working closely with all stakeholders for an innovative and resilience agri-food value chain to reduce overall emissions", said Mr. Varawut, Minister of Natural Resources and Environment of Thailand.
