The retail chain Ahold Delhaize Serbia presented their sustainable business report for 2021. In cooperation with the Belgrade Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, the company has developed a special concept of poultry nutrition which promotes healthier diet, eliminates the use of antibiotics in chicken breeding and has a beneficial effect on reducing CO2 and ammonia emissions. In 2021 all packaged products of the “OB” private brand, were marked with the “Nutri Score label” thereby helping consumers making  healthier dietary decisions. The promotion of fresh food and a wide range of healthier products has also contributed to an increased demand for healthier private label products by 10% compared to 2020.
