Invitation from Thailand for Diversify Animal-Based Proteins Webinar 2022

COVID-19 and climate change have re-shaped global agri-food system. The future agri-food value chain needs to adapt and focus on innovative and sustainable market preferences. You are kindly invited to join the webinar ‘Diversify Animal-Based Proteins’ on Thursday 31st March 2022 from 10:00 – 11:30 CET.

ASEAN is one of the most susceptible regions to climate change (Ding & Beh, 2022). Consumer demand is getting more complex, healthier diet, eating behavior and lifestyle for instance. Post COVID-19 and climate change are disrupting the global agri-food system. To ensure food security and safety for all is crucial. Resilience food ingredients and food system decarbonization for healthier consumers and agro-ecosystem requires the transformation of the entire food system. The future development of truly sustainable food system relies heavily on the diversification of protein sources (Zannini, 2019). Diversify animal-based protein ingredients with reducing Green House Gas emission for better and healthier diets is a challenge we have to solve together.

The Netherlands Embassy in Bangkok, in collaboration with FrieslandCampina, Green Ant, The Bricket, Thai ACFS and Kasetsart University invite you to participate in the webinar “Diversify Animal – Based Proteins; Convergence of Sustainable Food Security” The Netherlands – ASEAN Agri-Food Webinar 2022 on Thursday 31st March 2022 (10:00 – 11:30 hr.
