Iraq witnessed good participation by Dutch companies in the Netherlands Pavillion at the Agropack Erbil Exhibition (23-26 November 2021).

In collaboration with the Consulate General of the Netherlands in Erbil, at the end of November 2021, the Netherlands Agricultural Network in Iran/Iraq (LAN) organized a Dutch pavilion at the largest agriculture, food & packaging fair in Iraq. The exhibition lasted for four days and included 174 exhibitors from 9 different countries, including the Netherlands, Italy, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Iran, Egypt, Turkey, Iraq, Iran, and the United Arab Emirates.

The Netherlands pavilion received a great deal of interest and attracted hundreds of visitors. Altogether, ten Dutch companies were housed in the Dutch pavilion representing the dairy, irrigation & greenhouse, potato, consultancy, horticulture and agricultural machinery sectors. The Netherlands  promoted Dutch know-how for farming the future, and the participating Dutch companies presented their innovative and market-worthy products and services. During the fair, Dutch companies met with local companies, growers and investors exploring opportunities for future collaboration and trade.
