VIDEO: How to achieve a more efficient use of water in palm cultivation in Colombia in order to face climate change?

Delphy InternationalFutureWaterSolidaridad Network Colombia & Cenipalma, with the support of the Government of the Netherlands Rijksdienst voor Ondernemend Nederland (RVO), carried out a pilot project in one of the most diverse landscapes in Colombia; Magdalena. The demonstration of efficient irrigation systems in oil palm crops developed by Dutch experts with Colombian partners, found that by using drip irrigation techniques, water demand can be reduced, achieving water savings of up to 67 %. Every drop counts in adapting to climate change.
