Ukraine exports breeding cattle to Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan

Since the beginning of 2020, the company Dairy Global Experts delivered 1,725 heifers to Kazakhstan. In addition, Dairy Global Experts shipped 1,281 heifers and 1751 bulls to Uzbekistan.

The total number of cattle exported by the company in 2020 has reached 4,757 heads. By the end of the year, the company plans to export another 2,810 heads of cattle.

Dairy Global Experts noted that the COVID-19 pandemic had negative impact on the company's work: the volume of exported cattle to the Asian market has significantly decreased. Cancelled flights forced to postpone planned consultation visits to partners from Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan. Moreover, the export situation was significantly complicated by the fact that on September 4, 2020 Russia closed its borders for the transit of cattle from Ukraine.

For reference: Dairy Global Experts supplied breeding cattle to Uzbekistan also in 2018 and 2019.
