Developing a bilateral strategy on Circular Agriculture, the experience of the LAN team in Bogota

In this video, the Agricultural Advisor of LAN Bogota, Andrés Santana, explains how the Dutch Embassy in Colombia developed a bilateral strategy to materialise the vision on circular agriculture of the Netherlands Ministry of Agriculture, Nature and Food Quality.

From June 15th to 19th 2020, with 120 invitees of the Landbouw Attaché Network (LAN) from 64 different countries around the world, the first virtual briefing conference of Agricultural Advisors of the LAN took place. The central themes of the conference were:

  • Future trends in circular and sustainable agriculture
  • Impact of corona and post-corona development worldwide

The Agricultural Advisor of LAN Bogota, Andrés Santana, participated in the virtual programme with a video pitch in which he explains how the Dutch Embassy in Colombia developed a bilateral strategy that consists of 6 priority focus areas and more than 20 concrete activities to materialise the vision on circular agriculture of the Netherlands Ministry of Agriculture, Nature and Food Quality in and with Colombia. Andrés also participated as moderator in the regional session that the Agricultural Advisors of the Americas organised during the conference.
