Update: ASF resolved in Myanmar
In its final report to the World Organisation for Animal Health (OIE), the Myanmar Government stated that the African Swine Fever (ASF) is now clear in the country.
Myanmar’s Livestock Breeding and Veterinary Department made an immediate notification on the first ASF outbreak in August last year.
A total of 4 outbreaks occurred and affected 2 States ever since.
The event was now reportedly resolved on 8 May, 2020 according to the final report to OIE by Myanmar (submitted 11 May, 2020).
