Myanmar: Call for Application by USAID to Strengthen Agriculture Market Systems
The United States Agency for International Development USAID published recently a “Call for Application (CFA) for Partnership on Strengthening Agriculture Market Systems”, that might be of interest for local and Dutch organizations.
Intended outcomes:
1: Increased economic interdependence among market actors of different ethnic backgrounds
2: Increased access to agricultural support services
3: Increased availability of improved inputs
4: Smallholder supply-chains expand domestic and international market access
Focus is on the following sectors: pulses and beans, oilseeds, horticulture (fruits, nuts, vegetables), spices, beverage crops (tea and coffee), and grains other than rice. For all detailed information we kindly refer to the attached PDF.
