Onion field days in Myanmar: Sales outlet, demonstration farms and storage facility opening
The Dutch Vegetable Sector Support Myanmar successfully organized onion field days in Pakokku and Myingyan townships in the central Dry Zone on 3rd and 4th April, 2019. The two events drew over 200 participants including growers, traders, government officials, representatives from local and Dutch companies from the projects.
Along with the field days and demonstrations of seeds, seed-bed preparations and machineries, two demo storage facilities of Dutch company Omnivent were also officially opened. Agricultural Counsellor of the Dutch Embassy in Yangon attended both field day events and the opening of storage.
