Jaarlijks wordt in Angers, gelegen midden in één van de belangrijkste Franse tuinbouwgebieden, de internationale tuinbouwbeurs SIVAL gehouden. SIVAL 2019 – ruim 600 exposanten - vindt plaats van 15 t/m 17 januari 2019. Enkele highlights: Sival Innovation Contest, Agreen Starup Contest, Start-up Village. Nederland is op SIVAL 2019 eregastland!
Dit houdt o.a. in:
- deelname van 3 sprekers namens Nederland aan Végépolys Symposium en aan het SIVAL conferentieprogramma, te weten Jürgen Kohl en Jan Willem de Kogel, beiden onderzoekers bij de WUR en Rudy Devreker, Managing Director van DELPHY-België

Internationalisation has been for many years, one of the main development strategies of the Exhibition. SIVAL hosts around 2,000 foreign visitors (from 42 countries) and 15% foreign exhibitors.
In order to support this internationalisation, SIVAL is carrying different actions, notably in the following areas:
The organisation with VEGEPOLYS of VIBE - the international business convention – (350 participants, 800 B to B meetings in 3 editions) hosting of international delegations foreign speakers and experts for the Exhibition Conference the organisation of Fruit 2050, the prospective event dedicated to the professionals of the European fruit industry and dealing with the future of fruit crops.
In 2019, The Netherlands will be the guest country of SIVAL. Various visits, events and dedicated lectures will be organised.
