Ukraine +6 positions in Global Competitiveness Index

Ukraine went 6 positions up compared to 2017 and ranked 83rd out of 140 countries in the Global Competitiveness Index issued by the World Economic Forum (WEF) in partnership with the Eurasian Competitiveness Institute and the Strategy Partners consulting company.

GCI measures the readiness of the countries for the Fourth Industrial Revolution. It is composed of 12 components: quality of institutions, state of infrastructure, penetration of IT and modern communications, macroeconomic stability, consumer market, labor market, financial system, the size of the domestic market, health, education and skills, the dynamics of business development, and ability to innovate.
