Increase of EU quota for UA honey

Quota for duty free supply of UA honey to EU increased by 2,5 thousand tons - up to 7,9 thousand tons in 2018

National FAO expert Anna Burka posted on her Facebook page.

With the reference to the State Fiscal Sevice of Ukraine Anna informed that based on hte results of 2017 Ukraine has the highest exports of honey.

In 2017 the total export of UA honey was 67,8 thousand tons for total amount  $133,9 mln. In 2016 it was  57  thousand tons for  $97,3 mln.

The TOP importers of UA honey are EU countries: Germany and Poland.

TOP 3 importers of UA honey in 2017:

Gernamy — $34,23 mln;

USA — $26,99 mln;

Poland — $21,81 mln.
