HortiflorExpo IPM 2017 took place in Shanghai

The 19th HortiflorExpo IPM took place on 10-12 May, in Shanghai. This trade fair was one of the biggest in Asia for floriculture, horticulture and garden industry.  This year 24 Dutch companies joined Holland Pavilion, and other four were outside of Holland Pavilion.

Mr. Martin Olde Monnikhof, Agricultural Counselor, made a keynote speech at the opening.

During the fair, the Consulate General in Shanghai and Embassy in Beijing organized “Sino-Dutch Sustainable Horticulture Seminar – Experiences in the Netherlands”.  The seminar went very successfully in terms of well attendance.  Madam LIU Hong, Secretary General of China Flower Association, came for a keynote speech.  Some 160 people participated this seminar.  And they were from all over China.

The Dutch speakers were from HortiMax, Priva, Philips LED, Jansen Overseas and Metazet.  The networking reception was also appreciated by Dutch exhibitors and visitors who came from the Netherlands. More than 70 people attended this network reception.  Next year Hortiflor Expo IPM will shift to Beijing.  Those who are interested in participation, can send a request to pek-lnv@minbuza.nl.
