During this meeting, the Netherlands Enterprise Agency will tell you more about this potential fourth grant round of the Ukraine Partnership Facility (UPF), including its objectives, criteria, and processes.
The importance of doing business in Ukraine
Through grants, UPF supports concrete projects with tangible results that contribute to broader local economic and social development. These projects support the local public sector in sustainable recovery and alleviate the pressure on that sector. This is of great importance, given the high level of need in Ukraine since the russian invasion.
Fourth subsidy round subject to confirmation
There have been three successful subsidy rounds since 2023; a potential fourth round is set to launch in October. This round is intended for projects that have a lasting impact on local communities or on value chains involving businesses and civil society organizations. These projects involve setting up and implementing a concrete initiative in Ukraine through partnerships comprising at least one Dutch company and one local organization or company.
Projects and their associated activities must take place in one or more of the following sectors:
- healthcare
- water
- renewable energy
- agriculture
About the event on 15 october
In a presentation and panel discussion, the following questions are adressed:
- What’s new or different in the potential fourth UPF round?
- What are the experiences of entrepreneurs from the various UPF focus sectors?
- What should you keep in mind when doing business in a high-risk area?
