From October 6-8, 2026 the Alimentaria FOODTECH will take place in Barcelona. This is the leading trade show for machinery, technology, and ingredients that connect the entire value chain of production, processing, and preservation in the food and beverage industry. It is a cross-cutting event that serves the food and beverage production sector from raw materials all the way to commercial distribution.

Alimentaria FOODTECH 2026, held from October 6–8 at Fira de Barcelona’s Gran Via venue, is a European trade show showcasing the latest machinery, technology and ingredients for the entire agri‑food value chain, from production to distribution.
The trade show expects around 400 exhibitors from 15 countries, covering nine industrial sectors and placing special emphasis on ingredients, ready meals and pet food.
The event will feature an innovation hub focused on automation, digitalisation, AI and new ingredients, including the FoodTech Innovarena, Speakers’ Corner and innovation awards, and will host an international Hosted Buyers programme to facilitate some 800 business meetings, supported by major industry associations and institutions.
