Herzegovinian Fruits of the Mediterranean

The event is held at the school sports hall in Stolac, a town whose Mediterranean climate and long-standing olive-growing tradition make it a fitting home for the fair. Over nearly two decades, it has drawn consistent backing from the City of Stolac and local government, cementing its place as a fixture on the region's agricultural calendar.

Around 120 exhibitors from Bosnia and Herzegovina and neighbouring countries are expected to take part, filling two days with tastings, product competitions and hands-on workshops. Beyond the exhibition itself, the event has become a genuine meeting point, bringing together small and medium-sized producers from Stolac and wider Herzegovina with food processors, agricultural associations, distributors and buyers from across the region. It's also opening up to international participation, with organisers actively inviting Dutch experts, agricultural organisations and equipment suppliers to join, from irrigation systems and processing and packaging technology to broader horticultural know-how.

For anyone working in agriculture, the fair offers a direct, face-to-face contact with growers and processors in a fast-developing market. Herzegovina's olive oil sector alone has expanded from near-obscurity to around ten mills and internationally awarded oils in less than two decades. It  proves how quickly local production can scale when knowledge, technology and new partnerships come together. Whether the interest is sourcing local products, exploring new markets, or introducing sustainable production and processing methods to a region eager to adopt them, Stolac offers a compact, practical entry point.
