Event is dedicated to exploring how Ukraine’s integration can reinforce the competitiveness and resilience of the European agri-food sector.

 

The event will focus on how Ukraine’s accession can strengthen the EU agri-food sector by enhancing competitiveness, resilience, and strategic autonomy. Participants will discuss the investment needed to unlock EU-Ukraine synergies, including modernization, logistics, processing, and new value chains.


 

Key discussion topics:

  • EU legislative alignment and modernization of Ukraine’s agricultural sector as a competitiveness agenda;
  • Risk-sharing and de-risking mechanisms for agricultural production, processing, and logistics;
  • Adaptation of EU financial instruments, including the Ukraine Facility and IFI tools;
  • Investment opportunities unlocking EU–Ukraine agrifood synergies;
  • Development of cross-border value chains strengthening European competitiveness;
  • Open discussion with policymakers, financial institutions, and industry representatives.
