De Heus Group new activity in Tay Ninh , Vietnam
De Heus Animal Nutrition is expending it’s activities in Vietnam. Last weekend, The Inauguration Ceremony of Bel Ga Poultry Hatchery Factory was held in Tay Ninh province. This project also celebrates the further cooperation among Belga Company, De Heus Group, Hung Nhon Group and their strategic partners.
The opening was only the first stone for poultry development in the Tay Ninh province where a hi-tech agricultural zone soon to be developed for a complete value chain on poultry products: from incubation, hatchery, broiler farms to processing for both domestic consumption and export, in the end would benefit Vietnamese consumers and farmers.
The example of De Heus shows that livestock development are going rapidly in Vietnam. The Netherlands and Viet Nam are cooperating well to realize Vietnams ambition of being one of 15 strong players in the world market. With this exemplary project of Bel Ga, De Heus and its consortium Vietnam sets a new efforts to work on sustainable and disease-free animal value chains, all starting with high quality, good gene and disease-free material.
recent animal disease outbreaks like Avian Influenza and African Swine Fever as well as the European Vietnam Free Trade Agreement are good stimuli for Vietnam to invest in increase biosecure value chains. This also provides business opportunities for Netherland SME companies active in the livestock industry to invest in Vietnam.
