The Asia Pacific animal feed market is expected to reach US$ 140 billion in 2024 from US$ 110 billion in 2018. To meet the challenges of food and nutritional needs in a sustainable manner, new and innovative measures are required.

The food and animal protein demand in South-East Asia has been impact by the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. However animal feed production of Thailand is seed slight effect from the pandemic. Total commercial feed production of Thailand in 2020 touch 20.5 million metric ton in 2020 or 0.3% increased from 2019 as quoted by Mr. Boontham Aramsiriwat, Secretary-General of Thai Feed Mill Association (TFMA).
