Consultation process on work permits
The government of Tanzania is working on new requirements for work permit applications in Tanzania. The Tanzanian Government has opened a last-minute consultation to develop a list of skills and professions that are deemed scarce in the Tanzanian market. The Tanzanian government has prepared a list of occupations in which non-citizens can be employed/engaged, along with required skills/experience.
The Embassy of the Netherlands has informed Dutch Businesses who are active in Tanzania and has invited to send comments to Ms. Marie Strain, Executive Director of European Union Business Group via marie@eubgtz.com.
